I grew up on the loveliest farm in all of Belgium and was lucky to call it my home for 18 years. We kept chickens, dogs, a million cats (and all of them had names!), sheep, some goats, even pigs and turkeys at one stage. My dad gave my mum a cow for her anniversary (that's true love, folks). In 2009 I packed my bags and moved to London with my cat, who makes regular appearances on my blog. By some incredibly fortunate twist of fate, I sat down next to Emily on my first day at university and we've been friends ever since. We went vegan together in March 2010 and decided to start the blog in the late summer of 2010. It's been a wonderful journey of discovery and culinary awesomeness, and we've just barely started!
